The Toy Shelf
Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
In short: Ads aren’t live in this release, and new Remove Ads purchases are paused. All games are free to play, with no account or sign-up. Your scores, progress, favorites and recent-play history stay on your device. RevenueCat still verifies and restores existing purchases. All games can be played online or offline for free in this release.
Who we are
The Toy Shelf is a collection of games, puzzles and toys made by Kizuna Collective LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Kizuna Collective”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers the no-ad release of The Toy Shelf: Games and Puzzles (“The Toy Shelf”) on iPhone and Android.
Information the app uses
The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. It has no account system and does not ask who you are. We do not operate a gameplay server or upload your drawings, scores, puzzle progress, favorites or recent-play history.
Gameplay analytics and crash-report uploads are disabled in this release. The app still uses RevenueCat for purchase verification and restoration. These connections can occur even if you have never bought anything, but gameplay does not wait for them or require a connection. The separate gameplay connectivity check is disabled in this release. Limited technical and purchase information is described under Purchases and restoration.
Information stored on your device
The app saves information locally so it can remember your choices and progress, including:
- your language, chosen looks and difficulty,
- favorites and recent-play history, including which games you opened and when,
- best scores and puzzle progress,
- existing purchase status and purchase-verification state.
Gameplay data is not sent to us or to an advertising service. Removing the app’s local data or uninstalling the app removes the games and settings saved by that installation. Your device’s backup settings may retain copies. Store and RevenueCat purchase records are managed separately, and an eligible existing purchase can be restored.
Camera
One toy, Kaleidoscope, can use the camera to turn what is in front of you into a moving pattern. The app asks for permission first, and you can say no; the toy still works without it. The camera image is only shown on your screen while the toy is open. No photos or video are taken, recorded, saved or sent anywhere, and the camera turns off as soon as you leave the toy.
Motion sensors
Some toys respond when you tilt your phone. The tilt readings are used moment to moment to move things on screen and are never stored or sent anywhere.
Purchases and restoration
New Remove Ads purchases are paused while ads are not live. You do not need to buy anything to access the games. Existing lifetime purchases, including the earlier full unlock, remain honored, and Restore purchase remains available in Settings.
An existing purchase is handled by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment-card details. To verify ownership and restore a purchase after reinstalling or moving to another device, the app uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user identifier, store purchase receipts or tokens and purchase history, and technical information such as app and operating-system version, platform, locale and currency. Its servers also receive connection information, including your IP address. We do not give RevenueCat your name, email address or contact details from the app, or use purchase information for advertising.
All games are free to play online or offline in this release. Purchase verification and restoration may need an internet connection, but they do not gate gameplay. The legal pages linked from the app also need an internet connection.
Read RevenueCat’s privacy policy for its handling of service data. Your store purchase is also governed by Apple’s privacy policy or Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
There are no live banner or full-screen ads in this release. Advertising is disabled and the app makes no advertising requests. Google AdMob and AppLovin are not used in this release.
We are preparing contextual advertising through SuperAwesome’s AwesomeAds, subject to publisher approval. It remains disabled. Before any live advertising starts, we will update this policy to explain the actual ad formats, provider data practices and privacy settings. Existing ad-free ownership will continue to be honored.
Children’s privacy
The Toy Shelf is a general-audience app. It has no accounts, chat, messaging, user profiles or social features. We do not ask players for their age or contact details, and there are no live ads in this release. The limited purchase and service-connection data described above is used for those services, rather than to build advertising profiles.
Parents and guardians can contact us at the address below with questions or requests about information associated with their child’s use of the app. If new purchases become available in a later release, the store’s parental purchase controls, such as Apple’s Ask to Buy and Google Family Link, will apply.
Support messages
If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include. We use that information to answer you and handle support or privacy requests. Support correspondence is separate from the app’s device-local game data.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. The app uses the store and RevenueCat services described above for purchase ownership and restoration. No gameplay data is sent to an ad network in this release.
Your rights and data deletion
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. You can remove locally saved gameplay data through your device’s app-data controls or by uninstalling the app, subject to your device’s backup settings. You can turn off camera permission at any time in device settings.
For requests about RevenueCat purchase records, support correspondence or other privacy questions, email us and we will help. Deleting local game data does not delete purchase records held by Apple, Google or RevenueCat, or support messages you have sent us. Store and service-provider records are subject to their own retention requirements and privacy policies.
Security
Connections to RevenueCat use HTTPS. Local game data is protected by your device’s security. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. In particular, the policy will be updated for the actual provider and data practices before live advertising is enabled.
